Sen. MacDonald to help deliver food to health care workers in Macomb County

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Michael D. MacDonald on Monday will help deliver food from area Leo’s Coney Island locations to Macomb County health care workers who are putting in long shifts and working overtime during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Who:
Sen. Michael D. MacDonald, R-Macomb Township;
Alicia Addis and Christ Backos from Leo’s Coney Island and Detroit Food Company; and
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital workers.

What:
Deliver food donated by Detroit Food Company and Leo’s Coney Island locations in Macomb County to health care workers who are putting in long shifts and working overtime during the COVID-19 outbreak.

When:
Monday, March 23 at 9 a.m.

Brief:
During the state of emergency in Michigan regarding the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, many hospital workers are working long shifts and overtime.

As a small way to say thank you, MacDonald will help deliver the workers food generously donated by Detroit Food Company and Leo’s Coney Island locations in Macomb County.
