LANSING, Mich. — Due to a scheduling conflict, Sen. Michael D. MacDonald is moving his district coffee hour in Macomb Township to Saturday, Aug. 10.
The senator’s coffee hours for Aug. 13 and 29 in Clinton Township and Sterling Heights will continue as planned.
Coffee hours are open to residents to express their opinions or concerns about state government or to request assistance with a state issue. No appointment is necessary.
“We have had great turnouts at our coffee hours, and we will continue to hold them throughout the district to hear directly from the people,” said MacDonald, R-Macomb Township. “Due to a scheduling issue, we need to move a previously scheduled coffee hour back a day to still provide the hardworking people of Macomb Township the opportunity to meet with me or my staff this month in person.”
MacDonald and his staff will now meet with constituents on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at McDonald’s, located at 18250 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township.
Coffee hours are also scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Biggby Coffee, located at 40027 S. Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township, and on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at McDonald’s, located at 2000 18 Mile Road in Sterling Heights.
Residents who are unable to attend the coffee hours may contact MacDonald’s office toll-free at 1-866-303-0110 or via email at SenMMacDonald@senate.michigan.gov.
The 10th District includes Sterling Heights, Macomb Township and most of Clinton Township.
