LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Michael D. MacDonald has announced that he will conduct district coffee hours on March 11 and 29.
Coffee hours are open to residents to express their opinions or concerns about state government or to request assistance with a state issue. No appointment is necessary.
“We had fantastic turnout at our coffee hour last month, and we will continue to hold coffee hours throughout the district to hear directly from the people,” said MacDonald, R-Macomb Township. “My goal is to provide the hardworking people of the 10th District opportunities to meet with me or my staff in person.”
On Monday, March 11, MacDonald will hold coffee hours from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Leo’s Coney Island, 33577 Van Dyke Ave. in Sterling Heights.
On Friday, March 29, the senator will hold coffee hours from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Ken’s Country Kitchen, 40280 Hayes Road, in Clinton Township.
Residents who are unable to attend the coffee hours may contact MacDonald’s office toll-free at 1-866-303-0110 or via email at SenMMacDonald@senate.michigan.gov.
To respect other patrons of the restaurant, no town-hall style discussions will be entertained.
The 10th District includes the city of Sterling Heights, Macomb Township and most of Clinton Township.
